Marlis lives in the existing farmhouse .
Kiriwai is located in the south of the North Island
of New Zealand overlooking a lake home to many birds and the wild Pacific Ocean.
Kiriwai has large organic vegetable
gardens and an orchard and bees. It is half an hours drive to the nearest town Featherston, and one and a half hours to Wellington
the capital of New Zealand.
Kiriwai hosts many wwoofers, women backpackers and home-stayers who
all contribute to the women-centered energy of this beautiful place.
